    They did that some years ago on the Big Horn in Montana...probably other places as well. It works (I guess) but sure looks terrible.

    It was pretty common for the farmers to do that in the rivers around here. Catfish loved hanging out in them. The water looks entirely different than in your picture, though.

    Most of the levees around the sacramento have cars buried in them. Hey, as long as they are clean, seems like a good repurposing

    There was a cliff above the South Fork of the Snake, a hiway running along it. Inevitably a car landed in the river from the above mentioned hiway in a beautiful run. I used to fish for an exceptionally large german brown in that run, but every time I'd hook him, he'd run inside the car and roll up the window. Yup! It's true. Or it should be. Sorry.

    I am assuming that the car had electric windows, because rolling up a crank window without thumbs would be darn near impossible....
