    Wow 11 foot 2weight.. that has to be "wand". As lousy a caster as I am I think I'd be getting wind knots... in the rod.

    I'm using rio LT trout line 4wt line. rod works with or without backcasting.

    The color on that bass is really nice.

    I feel shamed letting a guy from NYC catch a bass in the spring before I did.

    Excellent photo BTW, you can see the Phillps head indentation of the deck screw and the cigarette butt between the crack in the planks (which is one of my pet peeves).

    don't be ashamed NYC has 500 miles of salt water fishing & unbelievable fresh water within the city limits. there are large & small mouth bass in midtown Manhattan! They have out lawed smoking in NYC Parks. thats an old butt you see.
