I don't think it'd be any more frustrating casting that streamer than any other tandem streamer. But I'm not a fan of casting tandems they tend to be a hassle tangling up every second cast. I'm betting that it will troll well though and probably more in the strike zone with the added weight of the fish-skull with a split shot. Not sure what they are made of the website says a metal composite. Hopefully I have some time to actually use it this spring on some salmon. But I have the rest of the package to use, so I'll tie a few more trolling streamers, and some single hook streamers and give it a go. Can't be any worse than casting a cone headed fly.
