This is a 10'8" 5 wt with a 9 1/2" fore grip and 2 1/2" butt grip. Dark brown thread no cp, copper metallic thread trim wraps. AW12 window seat. Grip sealed with CA glue and wet sanded. I'm looking forward to trout season opening April 28.

Came out great Greg nice cork work too. I built that exact same blank for myself about 2/3 yrs ago, great casting rod. You'll also find that you can put a 7WF-F line on it and cast single handed 70ft+ effortlessly

I took it to a local lake today. Overhead single hand cast with a wf5-f: okay. Didn't load well enough to do any spey type casts very well so I think I'll try the 7wt line like Steve said. I think a double taper will help those roll casts.
I have it in 6wt. and use a 7wt. DT. on it cast fine..
