    Default Hocking Hills Fly Fishing

I'll be staying at Hocking Hills Resort , Ohio, the last week in June. Are there any fly fishing opportunties near there?
    Thanks,
    Bruce

You might want to try Salt Creek. Explore on line for further info.

Rose Lake, aka Hocking hills Reservoir, is close but requires a short hike in to a beautiful scenic lake. Good mixed bag fishing. Across a ways from the Hills yoiu'll find the Hocking River, good for Crappie, Smallies, in short a mixed bag fishery. Draw a fifty mile circle and you'll find Lakes Hope, Rupert, Dow, Snowdon & Alma, the Scioto River and Tribs, such as Salt Creek, Tar Hollow Reservoir, plus a score of small creeks that feature a mixed bag.
    Good Fishing,

Try Scioto Trail State Park, south of Chillicothe. Two small lakes Caldwell and Stewart, loaded with bass, bluegill and crappie. Was there yesterday and we had a ball.
