Default Gonna be a bad year for bugs

Went fishing on a small lake yesterday evening. Was covered with mosquitoes! Last year I barely even saw a mosquito. Bug spray going in the tackle box. Had one person say they saw a lightning bug. March 18th! Amazing. Well, just goes to show it's all one big cycle.

That means it may be a great year for fishing for big fat trout and bass. Lots of bugs, sounds good to me.

Last year was a bad year for ticks here. Maybe they will be few this year? One can only hope.

I have a couple of tubes of sun screen with bug repellant in it. Good stuff.
