Default From the winter Monsters of Louisiana to the summer Kings of the Florida Flats

The winter is winding down and the Gulf Coast temps are steadily rising. The warming waters of the Biloxi Marsh in southeastern Louisiana represent the end of the winter season of Fly Fishing to Monster Redfish. These Monster's entertain us during the months of October through the end of March when the Marsh waters range in temps of 55-68 degrees. We had a great season this winter despite quite a bit of cloudy weather which is certainly not normal. Our angler's averaged 2 to 3 fish over 20#s daily with several breaking 35#s even though the visibility less than desirable. Looking forward to next season but first with the warming water temps brings everyone's favorite flats fish the Tarpon and Salted Flats Fly Fishing will be in Apalachicola, Florida heading off there migration till mid August. Come loin us for and unforgettable day on the Flat's of Florida's Forgotten Coast. Here are a few pics from the season. Enjoy!
