McLean's Quill Body

Yesterday at the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo I was able to pick up 7 packages of McLean's Quill Body Material for believe it or not $.25 a pack out of one shops clearance bin. Nobody else seemed to carry the stuff or anything like it. Are they still selling these? Are they sold under a different name? I used to love tying with these things. To me they made great bodies.

I have a bunch of them, but got them a long time ago. Haven't seen them lately. Must use them one of these days.

Hi. I use them and I think they're great. I think most of us that use dubbing for dry flies make the bodies too wide and this cures that mistake. Here are 2 places you can buy them.

That is exactly what I did Texfly. They had it all in a box with other clearance stuff. I kept digging and digging hoping I would find more...
