    Well, my cane and I have another year started, up on the SNP, hiked a little over a mile in, got to see a way cool little bitty bear cub and brought to hand some nice brookies...

    My gear...



    Brookie...




    Lunch of champions...


    End of the day...

    Brookies are at the top of my list. Which side of the Blue Ridge? Yours or mine? Know better than to ask which stream - when we meet up in Waynesboro next month perhaps we can "discuss" it?

    empeekay, its on your side... Part of the fun of it all is not to know, but to get out a map, pick a stream (or 2) go for it and see what treasure you may find ...

    Hey Tim,
    NICE brookies! I'll have to find a way to get back down, but as I told you the other day, the Festival's out again this year as we're heading to San Antone to see (and fish with) 3 of our Grandkids.
    I like the shadow pic....I KNEW that big ol' nose would show up!!!
