I wouldn't leave the house without an Adams Parachute and gray rs2. What's a Gabriel's trumpet?

As far as a list, this is mine.

    #1 San Juan worms
#2 Rubber Legs(Stonefly nymph) in all kinds of colors.
    #3 Pheasant Tail Nymphs
    #4 Atomic Prince Nymphs
    #5 Zebra Midges
    #6 Denny Rickards' Stillwater Nymph
#7 Serendipity variation, the Three Dollar Dip
    #8 The Twenty-Incher
    #9 Gold Ribbed Hairs Ear
    #10 Double Bunny Sculpin-White/Olive
    #11 Galloup's Peanut Envy-Olive
#12 Chernobyl Ants in enough colors to cover Hoppers and all the different Stoneflies

As you can see, I don't dry fly fish very much, but when I do, I like foam.

Besides some standard patterns - adams, Hare's ear, etc. - it would be difficult to to make recommendations on water that I have not seen or fished. I think that you are the best judge of what flies that you should carry based upon your personal experience. I think that's part of the fun of fly fishing. Figuring out what works on the water that you fish.

Very well said Sir! I suggest contacting a local fly shop or two near the waters that you fish. To your list I would add some nymphs like the Pheasant Tail Nymph and some Elk Hair Caddis. Both light ande dark caddis should work well in your area.

The dozen can change depending on where I go...but I know that never must forget the base (4)...EHC, Adams, Partridge & Orange, Clouser Minnow. I can flyfish the entire planet with them if I go for salmonidae.
