I have mentioned this before on FAOL, but it is worth mentioning again relative to this thread. If you are ever traveling through Butte, DO NOT miss stopping at the Butte Convention and Visitor's Bureau. They have an incredible collection of George's flies on display. Included are are annotations by George and original typed description of the patterns and techniques. With all the the fly fisherman passing through Montana, in my opinion, this is one of the most under promoted attractions in the state. I cannot emphasize enough how vast the display is.

In addition to the Grant displays, there are plates from other noted tiers including West Yellowstone's Don Martinez, and Bill Blackstone.

Even if you are in Missoula, Dillon, or Bozeman, it is well worth the effort to visit this display. Plan on a minimum of two hours, likely more.
