Thread: Carrying / Securing a small POS Camera?

Default Carrying / Securing a small POS Camera?

I have a small Waterproof POS camera. I would like to keep it in the pocket of my fishing shirt.

While it is WP, I still don't want to drop it on rocks, or in a rushing stream, or just drop out and I lose it.

I could tie another string (backing ?) to the cord, and secure that to my shirt, or other.

How do you take care of such an issue ?, other than being careful.

i use a whistle lanyard, available in a sporting goods store for a couple of bucks. the lanyard loop securely hangs around my neck, and the camera stays in my shirt pocket. if need be, you can unsnap the camera from the lanyard to take a foto, but I usually leave it right on the lanyard

I have a WP cell phone I use for fish pics. I have a lanyard made from 50lb braid I attach to my vest, belt loop, button hole, etc. I then feed it threw my cell eyelet and I'm ready to go. Works great for me. Although it's WP, that won't do any good if it's at the bottom of a lake or fast running river.

    Thumbs up

    Look no further!
I have one for my Pentax waterproof camera which I attach to my fishing shirt, vest, slingpack, or my belt loop when out with Grandkids to the zoo, birthdays, etc. I also have their various zingers on my net, slingpack, vest & they are EASILY interchangeable! They are the only zingers I use.
I don't sell 'em, but I may be their biggest fan...

Same as garthman. It's been working well for me for 13 years.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
