    Default "Cheap" Rod Blanks?

Hi folks.. been out of the loop on building for a couple years. My last buid was a 4 wt on a trout/panfish spinning blank. I'm wanting to do a little experimenting with a 7' spinning rod blank. All my old book-marked sources seem to have dried up or disappeared completely. Been doing some extensive searching without much success. Can anyone point me towards possibilities? Wouldn't mind composite - graphite or glass would work. Color isn't an issue. Looking forward to spinning some thread again.

    Thanks in advance.. g

Check out the Custom Builder Series at Mudhole (www.mudhole.com) You can also go to Utmost Enterprises and check out the closeouts page. There are very often some very good deals there. Karen at Bingham Enterprises carries the full Batson line and has some good prices there, as well.

I know Dave's health has not been great. I have not been able to reach him, either by email or phone.
