The ends on the grip and the reel seat are double dyed big leaf maple burl. A little wild for me, but I think it came out OK. The grip is wrapped with dark flamed rattan. I put a feather inlay just ahead of the grip. The strippers are N style snake framed guides from American Tackle. The running guides are Snake Brand guides. I really like those SB guides. No foot prep at all and they sit so nice on the blank. They are wrapped down with olive, no CP, and tipped with black. Very subtle but looks great in the sun. I used tiny trout for alignment marks on this one as well.

I tend to favor more simple builds. I saw those double dyed stock pieces at kinnikinnick (I'm assuming that's where you got yours) and wondered how someone could incorporate them into a build without going over the top. But you pulled this one off pretty nicely. I think what really pulled it together was the flamed rattan grip. That looks sharp!
