    Default My new fly rod

This was made from a blank I won on e-bay. It is a 4 pc, 11 foot, 2 wt.
    No I didn't build it.

A mircro light carpin switch rod? Or perhaps a ultra light and long crappie rig? Would love to see the bend in that thang with either of those types of feeshes on!

A 6 oz bluegill would be a world of fun, a 6 lb. carp is going to be a real blast. Have fun Bill.

I have a 10 ft 2 weight and it is a blast to use on gills & crappie. Got surprisedand caught a nice rainbow on it. It took a while to get it in but it was fun. I hope you enjoy your rod as much as I do mine.

I used to have a really nice nine foot three weight and made the mistake of keeping my shorter 7'6" three weight and selling it. Since then I've been keeping my eyes open for another nine ft or longer in a two or three for reaching over weeds, around cattails, etc I'm a panfish addict and that is one sweet rod you've got there!
