    I've never shot a flying squirel. They have a taste for meat and I wind up catching a few each year in traps set for Pine Marten.

    I believe they are protected in Tennessee. Also, they are nocturnal so would often be protected in many places by hours of hunting regulations.
    That said, I'm sure that we can find someone willing to send y'all 50-100 as thanks for the umpteen-jillion starlings that we have from y'all.
    (Yeah, I know that's blatantly unfair. We got the <explective deleted> starlings from England, not Scotland. Sorry.)
