Just wanted to say I really enjoyed the article in the new issue of Flyfishing and Tying Journal (I believe it is anyway). I would call those 3 streams a "piece of heaven". Thanks for sharing it.

Hope Kelly gets that ankle straightened out.
Regards,
Scott
Kelly is a class act in any endeavor he undertakes!
Was unaware of his ankle problem.
Get well soon amigo!
When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.
Thanks all. The ankle problem has been around since a summer trip I took in 2009 to one of the streams I wrote about in the Flyfishing & Tying Journal article. I failed to take my wading/hiking staff and it has taken 6 surgeries and up until one month ago that I am finally walking again in shoes, although the sole of my left shoe is an inch-and-a-half taller than that of the right shoe, it is what it is. I'm back fishing again and just found out the cobbler can make the sole adjustment to my Simms Guide boots, so its all good!
Best fishes,
Kelly.
Tight Lines,
Kelly.
"There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home."

Sorry, didn't see it, and just got and read the mag last nite waiting for Swamp People to come on!
Kelly, sorry to hear of your problems, but also glad to hear yoy are doing better. Take good care of yourself and get back to the important things in life, like fishing W/fly rods. Have a safe one, John.
Great article Kelly, love that Purple. Have a great show in Poky Saturday.
Going out to get my copy of FF&T journal - don't want to miss any of Kelly's articles.
