The fact that fluorocarbon has a good deal of elasticity seem to have left everyone awestruck . Well to add to the Myth Busters segment I attemped rainbowchasers test to see if furling makes Fluorocarbon Visible. I had a clear container about 9" tall that I filled with tap water. A length of 10# test Vanish and the tipped section of a leader furled from 2# test Vanish were emersed in the water and guess what? I could see them both! Now this was done on a cloudy day in front of an East facing window at 2 in the afternoon on Febuary 4th and it was 68 degrees F. Does someone have a "Spread Sheet" that may tell me the proper conditions I need to conduct this test.
The Devil made me do this!!
