Hi,

I have not checked, but have personally never seen this before. Perhaps for good reason?

Usually, if it looks like it might work, it was already tied by someone else. I've seen the opposite method - hackle not out to the front sides or front.

But, I was looking at some photos of insects sitting on the water and thought this might better represent the insect on the water surface.
