I have a 15 ft. Kasugo tenkara rod that I use a lot and have caught a lot of fish with but I've had a few problems with it. I have broken the tip twice and the end cap fell off. If I got another budget tenkara rod I would go with one from Fountainhead.
I might suggest you take a look at Chris (aka Tenkara Bum) S' excellent site. He lists and evaluates close to twenty tenkara rods. It is an excellent reference resource.
