Back in the day I used to proof read college textbooks, so grammar and spelling are biggies with me. As Royce noted when you are asking folks for $75,000 you need to do so very professionally, and glaring usage errors like "scent" vs. "sent" are big red flags. I'll also admit that I nit pick stuff like that to death!
