There are natural materials used for creating thread & yarn, such as silk, wool & cotton. All the other thread materials are man-made from chemical formulas...
Fluorocarbon is grouped with Nylon, Rayon, Kevlar, and Gel Spun Polyethylene.
Because of the carbon component in the material, I am thinking that it has strength but not elasticity, so any twisting will cause it's already brittle nature twisting the fluorocarbon will cause the material to pass the materials breaking point .
