    Lightbulb Montana time

Ran across this while checking out a youtube video. I found it absolutely delightful. Hope you do, too.

Fantastic! Counting down days to retirement to when I head that direction!

I should have noted to be sure the sound is on when you watch this one. The music pretty much makes some interesting fishing shots into a really entertaining video.

Thanks, John. Neat video and music. Man, I gotta get back to the Big Sky Country.

    John,

Hope the snow that's coming your way this week amounts to something; it'd be nice if the rivers in the video resemble that come August.

The first system seems to have petered out, Scott. Every time we've had a forecast for snow, we ended up with nothing. Maybe the next two systems will actually deliver for us.

La Nina is in place, but that Artic oscillation is splitting the Jet Stream so everything is going either north or south of Western Montana. The oscillation could, and probably will, fade and the forecast is for very good precipitation in February, March, and April, so we are still optimistic that we'll have a good water year out here. Maybe not on the scale we had last year, but a good one.
