    Default Reddington or TFO...you decide

Ok folks, the moment of truth. I've been absent for many weeks, but I've got a new job and I'm going to buy a 7wt for LMB and light saltwater use as a present to myself. I've got it narrowed down to three rods:
    1. TFO Signature 9' 7wt.

    2. Redington Crosswater 9' 7/8wt

    3. Redington Redfly 9' 7wt

You decide. I'm going to put an Okuma Integrity on it. I know that the Crosswater is a cheaper rod than the Redfly, but if there isn't a seriously significant difference in quality, I'll get the cheaper rod.

Suggestions for rods in a similar price range are welcome.

    thanks, all.

I own a few TFO rods including a 3 weight, 6 weight and 9 weight!! You can't go wrong with the TFO. Great rod for the money. The 6 weight TFO TICR I have is so sweet.

I disagree with the assertion that you can't go wrong with TFO. I have found that their rods are soulless and about as much fun cast as a petrified telephone pole. If you're considering purchasing one, make sure you cast it first so that you make sure that it's your cup of tea.

The TFO professional in the 8wt is one sweet rod, I couldn't believe how much I liked it, and all I fish at the moment are XP's.

So far, no one has said a word about the Redington rods.

I have a 6wt & 8wt Redington CPS and absolutely love them. They are light, quick
and cast effortlessly. I think they are one of the best values in the market with excellent fit and finish. I have a St Croix Ultra Legend(5wt)and a Sage RPL (4wt)and while i like these rods the CPS rods feel like they were custom made for my stroke.
