I've had my Barracuda vise for over 10 years. After thousands of flies the rotation began to feel a little rough, like it needed a lube job. I called the company. They said to send it to them, they would see what it needed. Then they would call me for credit card info for the charges. I put it in the mail just before Christmas. It arrived yesterday.
They repaired the clamp, re-serrated the jaws, replaced the bearings, replaced the forcing cone and the teflon insert.
My vise feels like new.
No charge. Not even shipping. Now that is customer service!!
And I love this vise.
