    Default BEADED-HEAD JID NYMPH/STREAMER - Tying tips - Dec 19, 2011

    BEADED-HEAD JID NYMPH/STREAMER

I have been tying fly patterns (dressing hooks) for 16 years, and with time I have forgotten many of the sources that I have incorporated into my fly tying repertory for "dressing the hook"!

This is more of a method, than a fly pattern, that changes most nymph/streamer pattern from a hook spear-down presentation, into a hook spear-up presentation beneath the water surface. This method allows the fly angler to do bottom presentation with minimum of snags from underwater debris and obstacles.

I realize it is only a typo. But the heading should read "Beaded-Head Jig Nymph/Streamer! Is that too much to ask, I check my draft that was sent in and it clear says "Jig" no mention of "Jid"!

There is a connection to the free online "Spell Check" download, on the bar of this posting. ~Parnelli

    Parnelli,

The error is mine. When I set the article up to publish I made an error. You sent it as Jig and I typed it as Jid. Sorry.

    Neil:

I have converted 200 "Tying Tip" articles over to "PDF", with only 174 more "Tying Tip" articles to finish.

When that is done, I will have converted all articles in the "Fly Tying Section" over to PDF, and will go back and finish the remaining artilces in the "Feature Seciton (only 12 archive folders out of 43 archive folders left to be converted to PDF).

Please pass this news on to Deanna, for me.... ~Parnelli
