    Default "Blue Christmas" 10ft 4/5wt 4pc

Someone will be having a "Blue Christmas" with this blue rod under their tree which is a gift from a Son to his Father for Christmas.

Blank is a 10 4/5wt 4pc blue/teal in color. Wraps are Nylon size A no CP. Metallic silver trim, Blue Acrylic reel seat insert (thank you Ron) mounted in some Nickle silver BUL5 hardware. Burnt/brown burl/copano custom grip and Z frame Fuji stripper with SF guides.

Great work as usual. Those 1 and 2 strand accent color wrappings look very nice, but I really like the wider silver metallic accents that you used on this rod. I think they make the rod look like it's bejeweled.

Thanks guys. I've got a rod I've been working on for the past week now that is one I think is gonna blow your guys socks off. I think it's one of the most detalied rods I've ever done, and it's one I'm building for my 17 yr old nephew for Christmas. But...it is a spin rod But it's still pretty cool though. I hope to have some pics of that one up in the next day or so for you guys to check out.

Not to worry Steve. I've been known to hold a spinning rod or two. Especially when I'm throwing jigs for Crappie and Bass.
I can hardly wait to see it.
