Remembering Those Who Protect Us
I know many of you were away from your families in the pastprotecting me and my family. Know that I appreciated it then as I do now. Ifyou have family who is away in uniform tell them we are thinking of them andthanks for what they are doing.

Yes thanks. We live in the Land of the Free, Because of the Brave.
This is the first Christmas our grandson has not been home. He has less than 2 weeks left in basic training. Looking forward to seeing him at his graduation. God bless him and all service personel guarding our country. Jim

I hope your grandson is somewhere warm, winter BCT in colder forts can be a little brutual for a warm weather guy. The last two weeks are pretty slack except for final PT test, which is just a stress thing I never knew anyone who didn't pass it. But that was in the previous century.

Jesse, Yes he is in San Antonio at Lackland AFB. It's not been bad I guess. Just wet. His TRS/Flt just finished BEAST week friday. Now they will pretty much coast until graduation. Then to tech school. Jim
