    Default Little Green Rectangle

    Often times, things happen around me that I don't notice. These unforeseen and UN-noticed phenomenon (as attested to by my wife) are happening with more & more frequency these days. The subject at hand; the little green rectangles that appear beneath the name of those who post on the bulletin board. When you do a mouse-over on one of them it will tell you that "(Poster) is on a distinguished road." If you do a mouse-over on the little green rectangle on one of your posts it will tell you that "(Self) will become famous soon enough." Has anyone else noticed this? And do you suppose there is any significance?
    Just something to ponder.

    ....not until you brought it up.

    I found this on another site:
    It has to do with the number of posts. The forums themselves distiguish that, after X amount of posts, you move up to the next level. Really, it doesn't mean anything and you get no other benefits other than a different title. I think the point is to recognize those who are most active. It's an automatic thing on the site, one of those weird things that even I don't quite understand. =)

    That doesn't explain why you, at 709 posts are on a distinguished road, and I, at 2977 posts will be famous soon enough. If I could just go fishing, then I wouldn't be worried about this trivia.

    Those have been there for a while now, Joe. Hiding from you. Everyone I have ever looked at has positive reviews, even me, which is interesting since I occasionally become annoying and speak my mind, even sometimes intentionally dropping a rock into a pond to see what the waves do.

    Dennis;
    There is a big difference between dropping a rock in a pond (as I also have been know to do) and throwing it through the window. You would make a good diplomat.

    I don't throw rocks into the pond, but every so often I slip on the rocks and one falls in.

    Okay, I was waiting for Ed to jump in, but I'll do it. Sounds like swamp witchery to me..... ribbit.
    If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.
