My "problem" is that I like them all -- from my Grangers and South Bends to the Winston LTs to the Sage SPs and XP and Xi2s. My wife is more discriminating. She prefers a Winston LT for fresh water and an XTR for salt.

Here is a list of fly rods that I own or have owned.

Cortland (CL Series), St. Croix (Avid, & Legend Ultra), South Bend (Split Cane, & Fiberglass) Gatti (FRC), Martin, Redington (Crosswater).

I have an aqua one. I also have two black ones and two green ones. So there! I have more rods!

i own a bunch of rods by a bunch of different companies and love em all...but...i have to agree with flymaker. i cast a friend's redington dfr (when redington was still owned by jim murphy)and it was magical. i begged him to sell it but he wouldn't i was on the verge of buying one when redington changed hands. damn.
