It is a Fenwick, made for the Japanese market; a 3 pc , 6'10" , 7 wt called the "Floater Bum".

Is that an automatic reel on the rod? That takes me way back to when my younger brother got his first fly rod and reel. It was a fiberglass rod and a horizontally mounted automatic reel. He still has that outfit.
No, it is the state of the art , Italian made, ATP 37 semi automatic fly reel. It has an adjustable drag and removable spools.Originally Posted by cycler68
