Yesterday, the Missoula Food Bank had a surge at their local store, giving out more turkeys and turkey dinner fixings in three hours than they usually give out the entire first day of Thanksgiving week. By the end of the day, it was clear that the supply of turkeys was woefully short of the local need.

Today a parade of people brought over 400 turkeys to the Food Bank. Enough that everyone coming to the Food Bank locations today will be able to have a traditional turkey dinner on Thursday.

Way to go, Missoulians !!
