Change of Pace

I was rummaging through My Pictures and ran across this pair of pix from last summer. Thought you all might enjoy them.

"Change of Pace I" took a small dry fly on a headwaters creek to the Lochsa River high in the Bitterroot Mountains in late July.



"Change of Pace II" took a large dry fly the next day on the Lochsa.



Only a few months to go before the pre-run off fishing begins in Northern Idaho. And then the big show - the 2012 Run Off which promises to be as good as this year's run off.

You need to buy some land up at the Pass that straddles the state boundaries; that way, you can get resident licenses in MT and ID
I've got a good snowpack out there on my Christmas list this year; hope Santa thinks I've been a good boy.
