Default 'Tis The Season For Tinsel And Other Materials On The Cheap For Fly Tying.

Just a friendly reminder that it is that time of year again when mass amounts of hard to find tinsel colors are in stock at the local big box retail, drug stores and hardware stores. Christmas and Post Christmas is a great time to get some great items like garland tinsel, Swiss straw, ribbons, etc..., for your tying bench.

Hey make a day of it. Guys and gals take the other half shopping, have dinner, it will help your relationship too. This can be a fun time of the year and it will help increase your tally of brownie points to cash in for future fishing trips.

Hey perhaps we can all post a picture and a recipe of a pattern we tied using retail store materials. Just a bit of food for thought.
