This is one of those 1-material fly patterns that is EASIER than a Woolly Bugger!
I'm sure this has a name, but I didn't do my homework to find out what it is. I tied these up a #10 Scud Hooks using red Larva Lace.

They could probably do double-duty as either a Chironomid or a Bloodworm.

I put one in front of a carp on the river this year, he took it then broke 10lb tippet! It was the only one I had with me that day. I imagine trout and bluegills would want to slurp these as well. Anybody else tried these?
