    Default Zip Cast still available?

Does anyone know if the Dotman is still selling his ZipCast line cleaner? I thought I read something a couple of years ago that suggested he was no longer in the business. He is still, however, on the sponsor page. In the event this product is no longer available, is there a product on the market that comes close to ZipCast?

    Thank in advance.

    qqualls,

Drop a PM to "ohiotuber" and he should be able to answer your questions and may have some ZipCast you can purchase.

Sorry guys. I do not have any & as far as I know, it is not available. I thought the recipe was sold by the manufacturer, but we are unable to confirm that or get it at this time. If I can find out any different info, I'll pass it on here.

I prefer nothing but a good soapy rag for cleaning lines, but ...
Try Rain-X and see if you can tell the difference.
Some will argue that Rain-X wasn't designed for fly lines. But neither was Zipcast.

I use Loon Outdoors Line Speed http://www.loonoutdoors.com/line-speed.html
I preclean and treat my lines the night before I go out.

I just noticed they have another product for when you are out on the water, Stream Line, guess I will get me some of that as well.

Zipcast is still available, I just bought some in August but not from DotMan. I found it by going to the zipcast link at rodbuilders.org https://cinqo.pairowoodies.com/zipcast/order.php

ZipCast is still available from Bingham Enterprises in Overland Park, KS. I ordered a bottle on November 3rd at www.zipcast.net. It arrived on November 8th. Good and speedy service, which I am glad to see. Good luck to them.

I just ordered some. I didn't know that silicone breaks down so quickly.
