Angry Don`t let strangers take your trophy photo

So I catch my first steelhead of the season. To deflect the stranger standing next to me wanting to get his hands on my fish (he wanted me to give it to him)...I asked him to take my photo with the fish and handed over my camera all ready to go.... this is what I got:

I`m glad I threw the fish back!!!

I would have just guessed that both your heads were cut off to protect identities as with so many pictures that I see on the internet.

Deb it seems you are having trouble finding good fishing partners who can take a picture. Drop me a PM and let's set something up. I'll drive.

I guess since that photo does not illustrate you or that fish very well, you'll have to do what fishermen have been doing down through the ages ---- lie and try to sound truthful while doing it!, LOL.

    Deb,
In his defense, did you advise him the camera has a screen where the "soon to be" image may be viewed?
Talk about technically deficient! I now feel like an expert photographer!
    Anyway, congrats on the steelie!!!

Great looking steelie. I always tell steelhead fishermen up here in the greater northwest that if they really want to catch steelhead, go to the great lakes, it is fantastic fishing. They usually come back with the reply that since the Great Lakes fish never taste saltwater they are not real steelhead.

Now look at that last photo. There is no way that is not a great looking steelhead. They don't have to 'taste salt' to be a steelie.

I love fishing the Great Lakes for them.

Very nice fish, too bad about the person shooting the photo of the first one. Very glad to see you on the water. You deserve a break after what you have been through.
