Shouldn't your alias be choupique?

I couldn't resist, my Mom, brother and sister live at Destrehan, Hammond and Baton Rouge, I was the only one who escaped.

While I was born in New Orleans and now live in Baton Rouge, i was raised in Shreveport, were bowfin go by bowfin or grinnel!

Of course bowfin are also known as: brindle, blackfish, mudfish, dogfish, shoepike, cypress bass, cypress trout, choupique, scaley cat, buglemouth bass, German bass, spottail, grinner, and brindlefish, according to Cloutman and Olmstead in Fisheries (Vol. 8, No. 2).
