Forgive me but I'm taking a break from a little tying and about to ask a trivial question.
In a recent thread , I think it was JC, said or implied when practicing casting you don't need a tuft of yarn on the tippet or hookless fly...
Well , I've been practicing a little without anything on the leader / tippet....I checked the leader and the number of wind knots [of course it was perfectly still] was embarrassing...
If you don't have something like a fly on are you more likely to get wind knots? Please tell it's so....
Of course I was trying some different things so maybe it was me but I really thought I was doing pretty good.
Who said there is no such thing as a stupid question?????
