    Trying some of these tiny ones on pupa style hooks. Think this works?

    Works for me. That fly would work great where I fish along the Sonora pass. Nice tie.

    That smallest one is a triumph. I like those deer hair wings. I wish you could get a scud-shaped hook with slightly lighter wire. Which one is that?

    Great Ties Byron,

    Have you tried the Varivas 2200 hooks, 2X fine?

    Top is a size 18 Varivas 2200

    What size hooks are those, Byron? I've been tying my fall BWO in 20-22, although I think the PMD would run larger here.

    LEBENGEEK: Nice looking bend on that Varivas.

    Yes, the wire is heavier than I would prefer. I believe they are #135 dai riki hooks
