The snow on the mountain outside of town, down almost to the valley, was a clue to me. Aspens are in full color here in Colorado, along with the oaks, and the brown trout should be running any day now...
I'm gonna find out if the Browns are running down in the East Portal tomorrow morning. I will be there at sunup. Should be a very pretty trip if nothing else.Originally Posted by DG

Kerry, the colors here on the dry side of Washington haven't started in earnest yet. I'm just wondering; is your pup trying to catch snow flakes, or just trying to tell you something?
