Long weekend snoop.....
Susan and I have been looking foward to this last weekend for several months as our summers can get a bit hectic and this was to be OUR fishing trip. We statrted out meeting friends in Redding for dinner Wednesday evening and hand fed some of these at the restaurant......
Thursday found us pestering many of these and this pic is mostly because very few around here believe that I even do this.....troutoids that is.
We also launched the canoe further up the road in a pond that evening and pestered some LM's with top-water frogs. Alas, the camera remained on the dash, so.......
Friday AM offered us this sight.....
and these were pestered Friday and Saturday.....
We covered water from Shasta City Ca. to Hornbrook Ca. this weekend....well, Redding too, if you want to count the Koi.
