If we don't hear from Ohiofly in the next day or two I suggest we let Iceman take October if he is agreeable... Hate to say it, but it appears we are crashing...

Anybody hear from Ohiofly lately? I didn't notice any posts from him in the Sept. swap.
Just recieved a PM from Kilgore Trout.
He is dropping out of the swaps.

I am bound and determined to complete this SOTM for the year, even it there are just 2 or 3 of us. We don't have to do a new one next year, but we do need to see this one through. It's only 3 more swaps. Failure is not an option.
It's Oct. 3rd, and no word from Ohiofly.
Iceman: If you want to host for Oct, it's yours. Or I can do it if no one else wants to. Just let me know ASAP.
We're not done, yet.....
I'll volunteer to fill in November or December if you want to host October, Gigmaster. It would be good to finish the year.

When you say no hackle, does that mean the fly cannot have a hackle, or that hackle feathers of any kind are verbotten on any part of the fly, such as the tail? And does synthetic fiber count as 'hair'? I am speaking of things like Krystal Flash, Flashabou, Fish hair, Polaris stuff, Polar Fiber, etc....
