So I know I have not been on here for awhile. This is some of the stuff I have been doing. First thing is a reel seat. We had a plum tree we trimed so I took one of the bigger branchs and turned it into this


Next is a little something I have been working with and has turned out to be very popular. The first one is on the lathe and ready for finish



The next one is with the finish applied (tung oil and wax) and the reel seat combined:



Did I mention this is for a 7 year old boy. He goes to montana every summer to spend it with his grandpa fly fishing. The rod is a 6 foot fiberglass and I will post pics when I am through.
