Default POINT AND CLICK - Ladyfisher - September 12, 2011

    POINT AND CLICK

You see it every day, camera phones which will connect you with the world, videos, even remotes at home that require no effort and no thought to make them work; just point and click. I keep watching for the newest of fly rods and reels that will allow you to just point and click to make them perform. They should be very popular, since they tie in so well with our culture.

I don't have any of the new rods. I also don't have a cell phone.
I don't want to be that connected.
I manage to catch some fish. Some days more than others.
Have not found a rod that makes my casting good.

I did get that nirvana rod - your Hardy Perfection. Really enjoyed fishing with it. The best part of it is that when you hook a fish it feels like a cane rod!
Any chance they made a longer model?
    Really love it Ladyfisher. Thanks

    Byron,

I presume that you are now back in Hawaii. Glad you enjoyed the rod but I don't know about a longer model. You might check the Hardy website. Would be interested in hearing about your trip.

I'm actually in Seattle visiting two of my brothers. Go home on Tuesday.
Had a wonderful trip. Fished primarily in the Park, and primarily on the Firehole. I was doing so well there each day, I thought "Why leave a good thing". I tied for months for the trip, but only used the flies I tied each night!
The fly that was the most consistent for me was the X Caddis. However, I used a white CDC feather for the body as there were white miller Caddis dancing around
Have you folks pulled up stakes there yet?
