I just checked the gauge for the Lochsa, and it magically jumped 0.35', and approximately 250 CFS, at midnight last night. This is about a 50% increase in the apparent flow.

On the other hand, the Selway dropped 20 CFS without changing stage, and the SF Clearwater dropped 40 CFS without changing stage, all at the stroke of midnight. I put in an email to the USGS person listed on the page, and am awaiting an answer.

On another note, I seem to be coming down with some crud, and hope like hell it goes away before I hit the road.
