From the dam to the Hwy 411 bridge, browns and rainbows are a little slow, but still catchable. The hot weather is sapping some of their motivation, but that is expected at this time of year. They'll start perking up towards the end of the month. One of the most productive spots is the stretch below the railroad bridge at Reliance, Tn. Last week they were hitting Grey Wulfs, and Spent Wing Gnats, Pheasant-Tail and Hare's-Ear Nymphs, and OD Green and White Clousers. I caught several nice SM Bass there as well.

Water will be up this week due to flooding over the weekend. Look for the fishing to be molasses slow until next weekend.
