I am think of fishing a few tributaries (5,500 ft) of the Middle Fork of the Salmon the last weekend of September. Two years ago I fished the Middle Fork of the Salmon just below Dagger Falls (Oct 11-12). I got skunked and was wondering if the fish had migrated down stream?

How is late September fishing on those streams? Anyone know when the fish migrate downstream?

In case you missed it (for the past several years) the FAOL Idaho Fish-In is usually the last full week of September. We scheduled it at that specific time for a reason - the fishing is excellent. You might check out the Fish-In *S*
