    Smile Desktops

With the summer winding down, I'm sure lots of people have fresh desktops on their computers.

This is my current desktop - Kintla Lake in the far northwest corner of Glacier National Park.

Not too many people make the trip fifteen miles up from Polebridge. When I asked the young man at the general store in Polebridge what the road was like, his reply was "Dirt, sand, dust, little rocks, big rocks, potholes, ruts, washboarding and some mud here and there." He got that right. And the views and fishing ( on the outlet stream Kintla Creek ) at end of the road are well worth it.

    Beautiful shot John!

This my current desktop.....Basin Creek in the lower section of Doughton Park below the Blue Ridge Parkway.
When you can arrange your affairs to go fishing, forget all the signs, homilies, advice and folklore. JUST GO.

This has been mine since June. It's the creek that cascades down the mountain from North Lake to Bishop Creek just South of Cardinal Lodge. This is in the Inyo National Forest about 20 miles West of Bishop, CA on Lake Sabrina Rd.

I'm either going to, coming from or thinking about fishing. Jim

Letting my piggies dry out and warm up after an exceptionally frigid crossing in the Winds in the middle of July. That water must have been 32.5 degrees.

    My Current one is this.

But I might replace it with this.

    All the best.

This has been mine for 3 years now, and it's still not getting old.

P.S. What was that recipe that involves "fang of spider"?
