With the summer winding down, I'm sure lots of people have fresh desktops on their computers.

This is my current desktop - Kintla Lake in the far northwest corner of Glacier National Park.



Not too many people make the trip fifteen miles up from Polebridge. When I asked the young man at the general store in Polebridge what the road was like, his reply was "Dirt, sand, dust, little rocks, big rocks, potholes, ruts, washboarding and some mud here and there." He got that right. And the views and fishing ( on the outlet stream Kintla Creek ) at end of the road are well worth it.
